Monsters with explosion attacks will sacrifice themselves in order to engulf their foes in some kind of magical explosion.

The following monsters have explosion attacks:

• e freezing sphere
• e flaming sphere
• e shocking sphere
• y yellow light
• y black light

Note that gas spores are not considered to have an explosion attack, since their explosion is triggered by death rather than vice-versa.

Explosion attacks are represented by the macro AT_EXPL.
